I have Boston Extra Wide White Shin Pads. They fit perfectly in width. I have to wear them around the instep so they reach from midfoot to knee and compress swollen ankles. But they begin to lose their elasticity. i need black ones I wanted a pair of real socks so I tried this, it's the states, it's the same gauge and calf width. Hello no it's not! I have a very wide calf, about 20 inches depending on the day. This pair of socks was actually very painful to wear. I managed to get them up to my knees, but they almost cut off blood circulation due to the tight elastics. which runs just below and behind my knee. To be honest, they were actually painful, not therapeutic. I won't even mention that the mold I use the feet are so long I would have to cut off and sew my toes together to actually make a pair of socks that would fit, return them.
