I added this to emphasize the metal print and family photo and didn't want to poke holes in the wall. I bought this and was trying to figure out how to attach it to a metal print as the instructions say the picture frame needs to be 3/8" thick. I added two cut blocks of foam and attached the light to the metal print with the pieces of foam and it works great. The light has multi-color and brightness functions, and you can set the on/off time with the remote control. When I bought it I thought I'd have to return it, but it worked great. I've included photos of the styrofoam mount in case anyone else wants to use this picture light on a metal masterpiece.
