Heavy monitors fail

I received this monitor stand from Dell for two 27 inch monitors. My kit arrived intact, with glass in one piece, but the problem is my monitors are too heavy! No matter how hard I tighten the screws on the back, I can't get them upright. Positioning is also tricky - though that Manual warns you may need two people, to be honest it took us three to get these beasts into something resembling an Alignment. Due to the flexibility and because I have two monitors and I wanted them to stay close together with a friend with no gap I ended up having to put tape along the back while trying to figure out how to get them to stay perfectly aligned and to stop leaning forward under their own weight. If you have lightweight monitors, this stand should work just fine. If you have heavier monitors or actual TVs, make sure the weight isn't too heavy on the bottom to avoid this problem. I think if the weight of the monitors themselves were more evenly distributed it wouldn't be a problem. But they are super heavy underneath and the swing arms just can't handle all the weight under the arm mount.
