Great replacement mount for the stock Sony 100-400 GM mount and basically the kind of product Sony should have supplied from the start. The Arca style base is perfect for my tripod. The leg is well made and locks securely into place. There's enough space between the base and the zoom ring so the zoom doesn't get in the way, although it's a bit longer than Sony's. And that's good, because you can move around a bit to balance the camera/lens combo on your head. I'm a little concerned that it looks and feels almost identical to the RRS replacement foot and I hope its design was "independent".
