100mm Vesa on 32 " TV needs to be installed on the fly

I ordered a TV mount so that the beam is tilted towards the TV when it is removed from the wall. I have a 32" Vizio with a 100mm vesa pattern. I was unable to install the Soundbass brackets between the TV and the vesa plate as suggested in the instructions. The brackets do not have enough angles to accommodate the 100mm pattern I also have a bulge on the underside of the back of the TV that needs a washer Two hours later after a trip to the hardware store I was able to attach the sound bass mounts to the 200mm holes on the vesa plate and then attach the plate to the 100mm holes of the TV.
