This is our second humidifier from LEVOIT. Our first one was great but we recently lent it to a friend who needed a humidifier for her sick puppy but she accidentally broke it due to water getting into the electronics when she was agitating it with water in her tank, and obviously fried him. This issue has been addressed on newer models to make it more difficult for water to get into the electronics. DIFFERENCES BETWEEN CLASSIC 100 2.4L AND CLASSIC 200 4L MODELS. Since we were buying a new humidifier I figured why not upgrade it, but I was nervous. about that size so I bought a 2.4 liter Classic 100 and a 4 liter Classic 200. Both models have three settings: low, medium and high. Aside from the obvious amount of water that can be stored in the tank, the main difference between the two models is that the Classic 100 2.4L model has a white LED that illuminates the colored water tank, while the Classic 200 4L model this allows people who use aromatherapy oil. Additionally, the Classic 200 4L is designed for large spaces while the Classic 100 2.4L is designed for smaller spaces. As I said, we bought and tested both models in one evening. Both models are completely silent and both models optically emit the same amount of clouds of moisture in high-performance mode. The Classic 100 2.4L only ran on high for a few hours, while the Classic 200 4L ran on high for around eight hours. Oil. We chose the Classic 200 4L for its durability and ability to return moisture to the environment. Even if you have a small room, I recommend using the Classic 200 4L. You won't notice any difference in humidity between the two models as they are small non-commercial humidifiers. You can check the moisture level with a moisture tester, but I suspect there is little to no difference between the two models. The Classic 200 4L offers longer run times and you'll be lucky if you heed this advice. I recommend using the Classic 100 2.4L model only when there is not enough space. CLEANINGHumidifiers don't smell! Like everything else, clothes, dishes, etc., they need to be cleaned. If you don't do this, they will probably start smelling at some point as well. This is a simple humidifier cleaning process. I put a few drops of dish soap in the basin, replace the lid and shake for a few seconds, then drain the soapy contents and rinse until all the soapy water is gone. I clean the cymbal holder. NOTE: Never immerse electrical equipment in water as this is dangerous, especially when connected to the mains. Therefore, pull out the mains plug when cleaning. Let it dry and it's ready to go when you use it again. I clean our humidifier after each use as it only takes a few minutes to clean. If needed, follow the cleaning instructions that came with the humidifier.
