These shirts are very soft and smooth, 100% cotton. They are well made and have plenty of weight for warm days or wearing under sweaters etc. They are a little shorter than I would like but wide enough for a loose fit which is good unless you have a very thin child. The sleeves are medium length, short, fit well overall. I only wish they were about 2 inches longer but they work as is so can't really complain about the style even though I just did it lol.
