I am 5'4", 180 pounds, I usually wear a size XL. I bought an XXL after reading the reviews saying these run small and it was way too big. I ended up going with a different robe after returning this one, but other than the size being too big, this robe was was very nice.It comes packaged prettily, so it would make a nice presentation for a gift.The sash is not attached, which is nice in that you can take it out before washing so it doesn't become tangled in the washing machine, but irritating in that you have to tinker with taking the sash in and out and it getting twisted in its little loops.Note: This robe has 3/4 sleeves. I prefer all my tops this way, but my wife can't stand 3/4 sleeves. she wants to be able to wrap her hands up in her cozy long sleeves. If you are like her in that way, then this is not the garment for you.
