Our 1 year old climber and we needed to do something to enrich ourselves. This is the beginning. She has other perches around the house, but Pepper likes to be near the ceiling, mostly because it allows her to spy on people and animals through our living room windows. It was easy to install and left room for a few corners. The wooden steps are a bit sad - she started contracting them within 24 hours. They are held with a bowl and a stick. We need to modify her to make her more durable or she'll find out. This is the start of many wall bridges and platforms for her to run and jump on. Our cat needs some Jenny Craig before she can use it. With a large/heavy cat, I wouldn't trust that without reinforcement. Our friend was short and is probably 10 pounds now. It would be easy to add extra support or braces. (Lighting and angles are lame, sorry I took a picture to show my husband how quickly she made it, but I didn't want to startle her.)
