This solar charger works very well and weighs exactly 444 grams (no carabiner or USB cable, just the solar panel itself). I mainly use it to charge my LG Leon phone and in bright sunlight it takes 2.5 to 3 hours to fully charge the battery from a 15 percent charge. I typically mount the charger at an angle to a south-facing window so I could get a slightly faster charge by placing the solar charger in direct sunlight without disturbing the window glass. Anyway, it's good enough for me. I also use the charger to charge AA and AAA NiMH batteries via a USB charger, which I then use for various devices such as small radios and headlamps. I also find that charging a portable battery (I have 10,000mAh, and that's quite enough) is better than charging the phone itself directly. Oh, and a few more things. When I charge something I keep it in the shade so it doesn't overheat (I don't dare put my phone in my pocket). Also, I use a USB cable that is about 18 inches long when using this charger. I seem to charge faster with the 18" USB cable than with the slightly longer USB cable that comes with the solar charger. Anyway, I didn't mean to be verbose, but I hope this helps anyone reading this.
