Review on πŸͺœ Ladder Standoff Brackets with Silicone Elbows - Stabilizer Pair for Enhanced Stability by Jason Ortiz

Easy to install, works great!

I've wanted to replace some of the fascia boards and trim on the outside of my house for a long time. Some of this is essentially an internal crown molding that was placed outside of the house for some reason, but the new roof was built with that in mind, so I have to deal with wood rot all the time. It got to the point where I needed a ladder mount to protect the roof and so I really couldn't work that high overhead. I bought them partly because of the price and partly because the ease of installation seemed easier than others. the ones in the market. No screws, brackets, etc. are required for installation. Simply insert the ladder stabilizer into the ladder. There's just enough tension to feel secure, and the struts slide hard into the ladder, about a foot, so you don't feel like they're going to pop out at all. I installed it in less than 60 seconds, threw the ladder up the highest part of my house, about 25 feet, and on the corner of the roof and the ladder sat perfectly on the roof. Just far enough from the finish I needed the stairs and definitely stabilized them and I felt comfortable at that height. It was easy to rip off the fairing. I should have bought them a few years ago as it would make housekeeping so much easier. I have no complaints about them. If you need to work with gutters, windows, siding, painting, etc. and need to lean your ladder against a wall or roof, this is for you. Bean
