Simply practical in the laptop accessory
For laptops that sometimes have to function as desktop computers, this makes the switch easier. As a USB hub, it works better than anything I've ever used. A key example is that other USB hubs often require my scanner to be unplugged and plugged directly into the computer before it is recognized. With this tool, each device becomes visible once the docking station is connected to the computer. The network connection also works fine, but is slightly slower than a direct Cat 5 connection to the laptop.
