We chose this stool for a number of reasons. 1) Storage. 2) looks good. 3) Spent some extra money hoping to get a better product. This is a great ottoman. The average size. Not very small like a footstool and not huge like some ottomans. I like the round shape. The material is good and the stitching is good, no torn seams or missing parts. All you have to do is screw on the legs. Storage is suitable for 2-3 duvets and one or two pillows. If you use it to raise your legs, remember that it can be the same as or slightly higher than your sofa or chair. I don't think that's a bad thing as it's still practical. Just remember that this is not the height of a stool. It appears to be well made and very durable. In fact, it can be quite difficult! I'm glad I spent some money on a good mid-range ottoman. In my opinion, you don't need to spend more unless you want something more, and you don't need to spend less unless you want a piece of junk.
