I was looking for a cheap duvet for our guest room. This set fits! It's very soft and light. I got the taupe in double size. The color looks the same as it does on my computer monitor. The pillowcase that comes with the duvet has a rounded edge. I tried to use it on my bed just like the picture shows. The beading doesn't hold because the fabric isn't stiff enough. I ended up turning the imitation over (so the flange wasn't showing) before putting the pillow inside. The fabric is exactly the same on both sides so I was able to make it. I think it's better this way. The blanket comes vacuum packed and looks very flat when you first open it. I put it in the dryer (low heat) for 20 minutes before putting it on the bed. Nicely fluffed up! It looked a little wrinkled (even after it came out of the dryer) so I ironed it on low heat without even taking it off the bed. I haven't washed it yet. When I do, I take it to the laundry and wash it in a large capacity washer. I think the people who had trouble with this probably put it in their domestic washing machine and it caught on the agitator.
