I was one of the first users of the Arlo Video Doorbell and am very happy with this device. The device connected well to my RAX200 router and I did not experience any downtime or dropouts. I've rang the doorbell many times and received ring calls on my phones with no problem, including cloud recordings, and I'm happy with the quality. I love that the doorbell has a tamper detection feature that turns on the siren if someone tries to pick up the doorbell. I hope, Arlo will add this feature to their cameras. The doorbell currently connects directly to your router and does not use the Arlo Smart Hub, although Smart Hub will be possible in the future. The doorbell also comes with a 3-month free trial subscription, which is nice. I also heard from a little bird that if the doorbell gets Smart Hub support, you can use local storage and save videos to that location. I also heard from a little bird that the ability to view your files stored in the Smart Hub via local storage will be available to view via the Arlo app very soon, along with some other new features.
