I bought this shirt before I went to Hawaii. I was traveling alone and didn't have anyone to smear sunscreen on my back, so I wore it every day I went swimming. I have never had a sunburn on the body parts covered by this shirt. It was comfortable and dried quickly. So it worked as advertised.
