I needed a replacement leash for my dog and just bought a 15ft tie from another brand but immediately felt that their leash was too thin and their clips weren't strong enough to hold my exuberant 75 lb German shepherd. It was a clean break. There is also a break in the cable's plastic coating, located in the middle of the cable, showing rust on the cable. Not good at all! The packaging says "Replace after a year of use or when wear is evident, whichever comes first." This item didn't even last 6 months, but I still feel better about buying it than any of the others and will be replacing it every 4 months or so just to be on the safe side. A break up to the cable. He is only 1.5 months old. I'm so pissed! I replaced it immediately as I was waiting for a replacement line. God saves the man who saves himself.
