Just pay for a genuine brand, save yourself a headache

I am 0 to 2 with this brand and now I regret not having spent money on a genuine brand, first of all save yourself the headache, that I have and money that's being spent on gas that's being spent on refunds. The first press had dents and scratches on the stainless steel plate. I figured if I buy it new I won't pay for Predents, I want to do it myself. Sent back for exchange. The replacement came and I was delighted. I used the squashed one for some kids dinner quesadillas and it was great. My high broke when I pulled out a replacement only to find a few chips on the edge of the non-stick surface. So what does that mean... another comeback. Now the size of the plate was good (not ideal) and it's not removable, but given the reviews and the price I figured it was a willing sacrifice. I'll end up making money from these two quesadillas. I buy Cuisinart for an additional $30 which gives me many more positive reviews, a well known brand, larger plate size, and removable plates for easier cleaning. Headaches and round trips totally justify buying right the first time - so stay away from this brand, the lack of quality on the outside makes me question the quality on the inside.
