I've been using this thing for a while. I haven't tried the new version yet as I'm finishing my old tube. But here's what I can say about the old version. This thing works fine. It sticks well but can be scraped off some surfaces if needed (great for me as I didn't want to drill holes in my computer desk to install hardware). I used this material to attach my equipment's network switch, cable modem, etc. to the underside of my computer desk. The surface of the table is laminated and therefore very flat and smooth. It's not cheap laminate like a $50 table. But good quality guy. To save space, I installed things like a cable modem under the top shelf and taped it down with this stuff. If you're going to do something like this, make sure it's secure and will be held in place for at least a full day before letting it hang on the adhesive. Things are stored for years without any problems. but when one of them left a while ago I used a scraper and removed all the glue without too much trouble. When you tape something to a wall, expect it to peel away from the top layer when you need to remove it. I have found that this adhesive retains some flexibility even after many years. Not like silicone sealant but it still has some flexibility. It doesn't get very hard or brittle like many glues. I've found that if I get my hands a little wet, if I rub them back and forth a little, the glue dries, just curls up into a ball and comes off my hands with no problem. I recommend it for. Things that need a decent dab of glue or more. I do not recommend using this adhesive for small applications. When it dries it has a kind of cloudy color. It comes out white and has the consistency of toothpaste. As long as you keep the lid tightly closed, it won't dry out either. I've used it for things like ceramics and have had good luck. I haven't had any luck gluing small pieces of plastic together. In general, this method has its limitations, but it suits my needs quite well. It would be nice if it dried a little faster, but overall it's not too bad. I have no real complaints about him.
