Review on 💆 Amika Velveteen Dream Smoothing Balm for Perfectly Smooth Hair by Kimberlee Winn

I haven't decided on this yet. I love this brand's masks and I love their leave-in products so I really wanted to love them but I'm not sold yet. The benefit just doesn't match the cost. The smell is nice, but unfortunately I haven't noticed any smoothing benefits that would outperform the (mostly cheaper) products I normally use. In general, the hair remained soft but a little dirty. I plan to give it another try with a smaller amount (which, as a bonus, makes it cheaper in the long run) and forego my regular root spray (because it also feels a bit messy). I'll update this review if I get better results this way. Regardless of the product inside, the (lovely) packaging would have been better if the label was upside down so the lid was on the bottom; You'll probably still want to store it so that you don't get a big uncontrolled drip when you dose, so it looks better.
