🐶 Authentic DC Comics Superman Cape with Chest Piece Pet Costume Review

Everyone loved the costume but most importantly, my dog Barkley! It fits perfectly and the cape has additional drawstrings to fasten it under the waist so it doesn't slip or trip over the dog/pup.

This costume was a bit confusing at first as there were different parts tied around the dog's body. I followed the sizing chart and ordered XL for my then 65lb Doberman. Honestly I could have gone down a size as I had to put the strings in. The length was a little longer than expected. Very adorable costume and got lots of compliments! It seemed that it was done decently and doesn't restrict the dog's mobility when it's on.

This fits our 23lb. Shelties are great. Well made, that's normal for the price. I have to admit he is SUPER cute "Super Sheltie!" No problem with this costume. It consists of 3 parts - a cape, a belt and a bib in the shape of the letter "S". All tie around the dog and are made of soft and lightweight nylon fabric that is non-aggressive to the dog's skin. It will likely fit a dog up to 10 pounds. heavier no problem. We are happy with the purchase.

We needed something for our dog (a 65lb golden retriever) to wear for the 5K Superhero theme and it worked. Sorry, the item does not match the description. First of all, don't rely on the size grid. I bought my medium sized dog because he is 22 inches from neck to tail and 18 inches across the chest. I didn't mind if the cape was short, I just wanted the bib to be the right size. I would recommend going a size smaller than advertised, I should have bought the small. I probably should have gone a size small but after reading the reviews and everyone saying you need a size up and the listing says Yorkshire is a medium I went for medium.
