I bought a 66ft to replace c5e from my u-verse box to my router. After walking through the old plaster walls and ceiling, I plugged it in and the internet connection was much slower than before. And after you cut the wire, you can see why. This is the Cat5e #24 cable on the left. It will take four or five of these wires together to make the diameter of this wire. I should have paid more attention to where two different times in their ad it says something about connecting to the and the for higher speeds. Also, I don't see anywhere that they state the wire size. In fact, someone asks and only gets answered by someone who suggests 23 or 24, which I would assume because Cat6 wire is typically 23 gauge. And I know the category has something to do with the number of turns on an inch, not with the size of the cable, but this cable is too small to use to connect to the internet. Using this cable for the U-verse basically creates a huge fuse link with a range of impedances. Wasted money, wasted time, don't do what I did.
