We've had one of those narrow but long radiators for a long time that you have to put under your pillow or in a cloth or whatever. They never work VERY well, but have always been enough to keep our cat happy when she gets cold. But she's 17 now, so she only had enough when we didn't have anything at all that we shouldn't. So we bought it and we (and especially our cat) are very happy with it. The controller UI is better than some of the others we reviewed and is very simple and easy to use. I was hoping the fabric would be a little softer, although honestly I suspect she'd be happier if it wasn't softer as it reduces heat transfer. It appears to be exceptionally well made, which honestly surprised me as it wasn't as expensive as some of the others. Keeps our house pretty cold in winter. After prolonged use I would definitely buy it again for a second one. The only complaint I have is probably a safety feature so my only complaint is that when the power is turned off the heating pad is off by default when the power is turned back on. I totally understand why that is, but I'm not used to thinking about it when the power goes out.
