The dress is very well made from a soft material. Fits great. I confess I'm obsessed with the dress because I have a black haired granddaughter and as soon as I saw the dress, 'Wednesday Addams' came to mind. I could not resist. Although the dress has an "environmental" theme, it is not a costume. This is a real, fully functional dress. You could wear it with a colorful belt or a white open cardigan and no one would think of the Addams Family.
