Whenever I go camping or back packing I don't want to carry a lot of excess weight. That's the idea behind titanium metal camping gear. Titanium is lighter and stronger than aluminum and safe to use. This is an all titanium set of a 1600 cc soup pot with a lid as well as a fry pan with a 500cc capacity. The lid will not fit the pan, it drops inside. The pan nests nicely over the top of the lidded soup pot for carrying and storage. The weight is only about 11 ounces for all 3 titanium pieces.These are great for me to put on a little Primus type stove and should balance ok since they are round. Very nice gear! I also liked the two rings on the fry pan handle to let me add a stick and extend the handle.
