Just arrived today and just what I need to test my diabetic cats blood sugar. My eyes aren't the best and trying to pierce his ear and then find a tiny drop of blood on a black cat was next to impossible. I used a headlamp and reading glasses, but the glare often made it worse than nothing. I tried it out tonight and was able to get a "gold spot" on the first try and have the easiest pattern I've ever drawn. There's just enough light to see, but not so much to blind the lancet lid, and you can adjust both the light and lens to any angle you want. Big. Contrary to some other reviews, I didn't find it too heavy without the headband so I just left the headphones on. If I was doing something that required more movement I might need a headband, but for my purposes the ear pads were fine. In terms of quality, it also seems good, especially for this price. It's not flimsy, but I'll be careful with it just in case. So far, so good!
