My 12 year old son wanted to wear a cap under his football helmet. I ordered this without realizing it was also a cooling cap. The first day he put it on (it was the first week of training so no pads and more warm ups) he said it was too cold and he was cold. Now that he's dressed in full gear and has trained for almost 3 hours, he loves that it keeps him cool! Yes, he's a bit tall, but his hair is 3-4 inches long, so it works. And we will probably be able to use it next year as well. The bright blue color is a bonus, easy to find in his pocket or on the bench to see which helmet is his.
