Sturdy, large size for single meals

I bought a small number of these containers, used them for over a month and then bought more. It's the perfect size for a once-in-a-lifetime meal. If there's any left over from dinner, I cook my own food and then throw it in the freezer. I very rarely have to buy lunch at work. One thing I do is put a piece of tape about 3 inches long on the lid. I bend the end about a quarter of an inch for easy removal. I can then write the content onto the tape. I don't remove the tape when I put it in the dishwasher. The Sharpie marker usually darkens a bit in DW, allowing me to write over it a time or two before I have to change the ribbon. I've frozen everything from meatloaf to soup in these containers. Nothing ever leaked. If it's still frozen, it'll need to thaw a bit before the lid comes off easily, but it doesn't take long in the microwave. The only time one of them broke was when I dropped it while getting it from the freezer. They were durable and made storing leftovers that much easier (and saving money!).

Pros
  • food container
Cons
  • boring packaging
