I am impressed with it. I've been looking for a long time for a solution that would make it quick and easy to get a gun while sitting in the car. I am currently testing this on a work vehicle and as I wrote I am impressed. I use a magnet to attach my Glock 30 under the steering column. The pistol is fully loaded to give you an idea of the weight. I had no problem dropping a gun and I doubt I will unless I have a horrible accident. When I got in I bumped the grip a couple of times and the gun just stuck to my guns and wouldn't budge. I plan to buy a few more for my private vehicles. The only downside is that the rubber sleeve covering the magnet can be tighter as it can fall off depending on how you separate the gun from the magnet. Maybe in the trunk the magnet is wrapped a bit around the back to hold it? I'm not sure if this is the best way to solve this problem. All in all a great product and in my opinion the rubber boot is a must to protect the finish of the gun.
