Strong magnet, great product, soft rubber protects the gun. This thing holds the weapon in such a way that the Taurus emblem is now pressed into the rubber cap; However, if you pick it up and drag it, it immediately pops off and you're good to go. I plan on buying one for every paycheck until I have one for my desk, my truck, and my living room so I can keep my concealed stretcher close and out of sight when I'm sitting around.

I like this gun magnet. Durable, rubberized. However, it comes with a screw that has mostly come loose because I blindly assemble and unscrew the gun. The biggest problem came when the rubber came loose (it's held in place by friction) and I didn't notice. I scratched my gun which I have never fired :-( But it will be my EDC and will probably be scratched by my holster. I re-glued the rubber cover, I might as well glue it to the surface it mounts on is.

It's easy to install and seems strong enough to hold a loaded Glock 26 on dirt roads with potholes. I installed it under the dash so the top rail of the gun is attached to a magnet and the gun hangs down. One of the reasons I installed it under the dash instead of on the side of the center console is because this magnet is so thin I couldn't put my hand between the gun and the console if it was being used as a side mounting rail.

I bought this to stick 9mm to the bottom of a metal shelf which it does very well due to the incredibly strong magnet. In fact, it's so strong that when I accidentally got stuck in a corner, it took me five minutes and two screwdrivers to get it out.
