Review on πŸ₯Ύ Womens Waterproof Hiking Boots - Mountain Warehouse Adventurer by Tim Rushing

Too sloppy for serious hiking! Just go broke and buy the best shoes!

I didn't like these boots at all. I ordered half a size larger than my normal size expecting to wear thick socks with them when trying them on at home, they felt very sloppy around my ankles and arches. like I just can't tie them tight enough. Took them on some easier hikes around my house and they were just "ok". Again, they felt very sloppy, but I put that down to not wearing thick socks. My toes felt good in the toe box as I went down a half size from my normal size expecting to wear thick socks for serious hiking. The real test came when I climbed Cascade Mountain in the Adirondacks. Oh god what a nightmare! Even in thicker hiking socks, my feet slipped. I couldn't tie them tight enough. We had to climb and descend several rocks and I wasn't sure if I was on the ground. The descent was worse, and those boots made him miserable. As I slid down, my toes rested on the toe box and my feet slid inside. I couldn't tie them tight enough to keep the arch and foot in the correct position in the boot. Poor arch support was painfully obvious and at a decent level. Please do yourself a favor and get more expensive branded boots if you're going to do anything more than flat tarmac hikes. 10/10 NOT recommend.
