Review on Derwent Super Point Mini Handheld Pencil Sharpener (2302000) by Denise Davis

I bought it almost 2 months ago after watching a review on YouTube. I've wanted a manual handle sharpener for a long time and when I saw a video of it in action I had to learn more about it. This sharpener will take some getting used to and will likely require a lot of trial and error. Flaws with it, but if you take the time to learn it by trying it out with regular graphite pencils, it won't take you long to figure out how best to use it. There are very long nibs (even with Prismacolors) but you have to keep in mind that if you are a die-hard artist your nibs will break pretty easily. They break even if you're not strong, but they can work pretty well too. All my crayons are good for this and that was one of the things I was concerned about as my Coloursoft crayons are quite large. Yes, the little clip that holds the pencil in place when sharpening leaves a slight dent in the pencil, but I had no problems with that. The sharpener is very easy to take apart and clean if you wish and remove pencil shavings. very simple with a small drawer. Overall I am happy with my purchase and would buy it again.
