The tape is thick and flexible, but not overly flexible. The orange side looks the same as the picture. Live finish looks matte, almost chalky. This is a very unique look and very attractive. However, the fabric used to reinforce the gap shows its texture through the coating on the black side. It does not have the texture or feel of leather. It looks and feels like polymer-coated fabric, and it almost certainly is. Don't expect to be able to wear this as a convertible belt. However, it is a decent value and a very unique, beautiful product.
