Bought this for my cat Minnie. Sometimes she likes to go with me to my parents' cat or to my grandma's. I taught her harness and leash because she doesn't like her cage (and frankly, it's too much for me too!) but I got tired of carrying her in my arms. This was the perfect solution as it sits securely on my hip but cannot run. I hold her in the harness by the inside hook (because she noticed her leash has come loose) when I'm trying to be polite. To be honest, she used to complain about neighbors calling the ASPCA about "abuse" when I first tried to put her to bed, but now (after weeks and bag trips) she just growls at the end of the daytime when she realizes that "dressed" because it's time to go home. I also use it as a double harness for her (by threading the strap through the back of the headrest when she's snuggled up) and she is pretty cold about it. She never complains about car rides because only 1 in 60 rides means 'vets' to her. But she LOVES being a baby on the driver's lap when she's in the car, and that always made me nervous about security. That she hid and still kept her head is a blessing for both of us.
