Excellent recorder. I started recording six channels about 10 minutes after taking it out of the box. The controls are easy to learn and offer just the right amount of detail. However, I bought this recorder because of the ability to control it via Bluetooth. I shoot a lot of videos from club gigs so it would be a great asset to be able to make sure the soundboard recording is still going right. Unfortunately this was not to be. First, the app is only for iOS! For one, they cut off at least half of the smartphone market. I borrowed an iPhone to test the voice recorder/bluetooth during the show. Second, the connection must be REALLY wireless at 5 GHz, not a flimsy Bluetooth connection. I was about 25 feet from the recorder and my Bluetooth connection kept dropping/reconnecting. In the end I just gave up trying to keep track of the levels until the set was over. When I went back to check the recorder, it was hanging heavily on a message that said "Bluetooth Connected". I had to unplug the device and remove the battery to turn it off. I lost the whole set! I always used a second recorder as a backup, so it wasn't a total loss. But it made me think this recorder wasn't worth a thousand dollars, so I returned it.
