I have a lot of hydrocoated carbon fiber parts, both inside and out, mostly from Voodonala. The pattern and finish is great on all of them, so it's obvious that this can easily be done on cheap pieces as well. These very expensive wipers look more like they were soaked in someone's garage than from a commercial source. The web resolution isn't very sharp, but I could live with that. The immediate reversal of the deal was a couple of imperfections I found in the matte finish. In 3 photos, only ONE wiper is defective, I pulled the first one out of the packaging. I didn't see the second one. They were not damaged after manufacture or otherwise manufactured in this way. They were very poorly made and the quality control/checking process is obviously not very good otherwise they would never have been accepted for packaging and sale. For $40 for a set of wipers I would have expected a lot more. I can't confirm their performance in the rain or their durability as I immediately sent them back for a refund. Based on many other reviews of not washing well etc I'm probably better off. The only reason they get a second star at all is the simple design of the setup, although that's a stretch as regular wipers aren't very difficult to install.
