Yellow Ink Cartridge Not Working

out of ink, I have a backup because my HP printer refuses to print when all cartridges are empty or at least partially filled with ink. When my printer ran out of yellow tonight and I tried replacing it with the new yellow from this pack it didn't work! I have documents to print tonight and now I can't print them until a new set arrives two days later! I will not order from them again.
