I bought these cartridges so I have a fallback if I run out of ink because my HP printer refuses to print when all the cartridges are full or only partially full of ink are filled. When my printer ran out of yellow tonight and I tried replacing it with the new yellow from this pack it didn't work! I have documents to print tonight and now I can't print them until a new set arrives two days later! I will not order from them again.

I ordered these in advance so I can have them when I run out of ink. I just installed all 4 "new" cartridges and I can't print as it says 2 cartridges (Yellow and Black) are "SOURCE". I spent about $100 NOT to get into a situation where I can't type! Because I ordered these in advance, the return window closed a month ago. Very disappointed in HP!

I usually fill my cartridges myself, but this time I needed a new set. Out of curiosity I decided to add some ink to these brand new cartridges and was shocked to find that right out of the box they are HALF EMPTY! The black cartridge was the most annoying as it used up an entire 25ml syringe of ink. I suspect they only fill them up just enough to give your printer a "full" ink level. They earned 1 star for the actual work in the printer.

Some cartridges worked fine but two colors didn't work properly so I had to contact Amazon tech support and explain all the steps I had before hp knickste who never answered my question through the online forum and had no phone number or email address. So thank god for Amazon tech support. So please keep this in mind when you decide to buy these cartridges, but once you buy them and once it works without problems then everything is fine. This particular bundle was a good deal for my office inkjet printer. It seems that HP makes money from the ink, not the printer! I've bought a new printer once or twice because it was discounted and cheaper than buying replacement inks! But they work well, fit perfectly and the printer doesn't complain about fake ink.

As usual, ink cartridges are WAY overpriced (there are several other products that you pay THAT money for and get SO little). Although the product was delivered as advertised (i.e. at a specific time on a specific day), the cartridge box was damaged (although the product inside was unaffected). I highly recommend Revain to use thicker padded envelopes to avoid this type of damage. I can't say enough about how easy it is to install/replace cartridges. And when you use the HP Smart app, you really do have your printer at your fingertips.
