Fair price for very bright lamps.

Let me start by saying that it seems that the people who design cars never want to take it easy on themselves. In almost every car I've owned, changing bulbs can be a problem due to the harsh working conditions. Other than that, the low beam (H11) bulbs were pretty easy to install in my 2012 Toyota Prius. The high beam bulbs (9005) were not as easy, although access to the location of the socket was better trying to install the bulb in situ was very difficult. All bulbs have a "key" with three lugs that go into three sockets and then 1/4 and the bulb is inserted. But the metal ring with the ribs isn't connected to the rest of the bulb like it is on the low beam. lightbulb and when I tried to insert the lightbulb the ring moved and didn't match the slots. It actually fell off once and I had to fish it out in the engine bay and reattach it. I'm not sure why it's a separate part unless it allows this bulb to be used in more than just one spare bulb 9005. Anyway, once I've got them all back together and plugged in you may need to do the wiring reverse harness as it matters how it connects, even if it connects anyway, it only works one way. Once that was all done the lights came on and they were nice and bright and did their job perfectly. Much brighter and more visible than the halogen bulbs they replaced. My only other criticism is that you can hear the fan noise when it's quiet, even though the description says the fans are quiet. They're not loud enough to hear when I'm driving down the street, but when I pull into a parking lot and before I turn the car off, you can hear them clearly. This can be annoying if you have a habit of sitting idle in your car with your headlights on. It's not enough that I don't want to use them, but it's noticeable. I love the bright white color of 6000K incandescent bulbs and the long lifespan of LED bulbs. So all in all I would heartily recommend the low beam and the issue with the high beam placement may have been just me but it was disappointing!
