My father has dementia and we often have to change the bed linen. My mom has no issues and doesn't want an extra layer on her side of the bed. I needed something that fits easily between the sheet and the mattress pad, that doesn't add bulk, but still protects the mattress pad (I'm VERY tired of washing the mattress pad almost every day!). This size is just right to cover my dad's side of the bed and leave my mom's empty! It's very thin, so it's almost invisible, but offers excellent protection. I haven't had to wash a mattress cover since I bought the Biloban protectors! I bought several different ones from different manufacturers to see which one I like best. This is the best option for our needs! (And with a non-slip backing, I can place it on top of my mattress topper and even pull a king sheet over it without ruining the Biloban sheet or creating creases and ridges under the sheet.)
