Slippery at first, but a must for the everyday player!
It took some time to get used to, especially during aggressive play when there is moisture on the thumb. But now that I've gotten used to it, it's paid off and I know they'll outlive a console or controller. I also agree with another reviewer that the fit is barely loose, so I just slid a small piece of plastic bag over it when installing. . If you play casually, choose a standard rubber.
