Way brighter than halogen.
It's so bright that street signs flash with it. It also has dual brightness function. When you have your headlights on the corners come on too. When you activate the indicator it will flash without completely turning off. One thing to note though. You will need a resistor to get rid of the quick blinking. I don't mind but some people do.
