These shoes were great for the first few hours I had them. They worked and were bright. But at night - I didn't even break them in, I just tried them on in my room - a shoe didn't come off. I let it die and then left it on the charger for several hours. It didn't light up when plugged in, and when I took it off the charger after hours of being plugged in, it didn't turn on. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the plugs under the insole as suggested in the brochure but it still wouldn't turn on. I am angry. They were for a suit I wanted to wear tonight and now I can't put them on and let the hem shine the way I wanted. They are no longer available on the main listing and shipping will take too long to get to Halloween so my costume is basically ruined. Worst $35 I've ever spent returning it and not buying again. These shoes could be great if they both continued to work. They fit well, look good and are very comfortable. I wouldn't haggle with your money there. UPDATE: I received a full refund almost a day after viewing it, so at least the company seems to care about their customers, which is great.
