The only thing that confuses me is that the stem is almost impossible to reach. I had to use a tiny screwdriver from an eyeglass repair kit to get to it. The way the guards are positioned on either side of it doesn't allow you to grab it with your fingers, so you'll have to pry it off with something that will scrape the paint off the metal. However, this is my only complaint. Once I got over that, I started having fun. It's a cute watch, although Santa's boots should be black. You get what you pay for. For what it's worth I feel like I got my money's worth.
