Review on 🎧 Picun ANC-02Pro: Wireless Over Ear Headphones with Advanced Noise Cancelling, Transparent Mode, 4-Mic ENC, Extended 60H Playtime - Ideal for Phones, Tablets, Travel by Marty Wainwright

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Mediocre sound and ANC sounds wide and thin. Talkative.

The sound of these is unimaginative - the bass is there, but not very deep, the mids are muddy, and the highs have very little brightness. And with the ANC switched off. With ANC on, it sounds like you're listening through a hose - a huge emphasis on mids and a loss of all brightness. I would never listen to anything with the noise cancellation turned on unless there was really loud audio that could be drowned out. However, without ANC, the headphones isolate fairly well, so the passive noise-cancellation is pretty good. There's a transparency mode which should let external audio through, but lets very little through and is barely audible with ANC off. They are comfortable and the buttons are well placed. I appreciate individual buttons and not just a bunch of fuzzy toggle switches placed close together. The controls are easy to use and standard. Annoyingly, when they're connected via Bluetooth (I'm using an iPad) and the sound is turned off (source is paused or exited), a voice appears saying "mute". ", and then will "connect" every 20 seconds. Other headphones can stay connected with no active audio and just remain silent when you pause for a conversation or just can't get to the device to start the next one .These are chatty chatty chatty It seems trivial but it's actually very annoying.I stopped the music for some reason so please be quiet.

Pros
  • Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation: Two noise-detection microphones can filter out up to 95% of the surrounding noise, and the combination of active noise cancellation and passive noise cancellation achieves an optimal noise cancellation effect of up to 30 dB. Immerse yourself in the world of music (ANC works well both wired and with the headset not switched on)
Cons
  • There are doubts
