Review on ๐Ÿฑ Rubbermaid Easy Find Square Food Storage Container, 6 Pack - Clear with Red Lid, 6 Cups Capacity by Michele Smith

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not the best but with limited features in this size/capacity/volume

Let's call things by their proper name and I'll just admit it's a "luxury" is and very unnecessary purchase. But listen to me. If you're looking for tight-fitting, easy-to-clean, leak-proof containers that are small but not too small, these aren't the containers you need. I carry liquids in them (even) and with a little pressure they start to leak. Don't remember them ever being opened with the top off but bad enough. Then you might think in the same way that they could at least be cleaned quite easily. You are not. The bottom transparent part of the container is simple enough, but the slits in the lid are too small to get in really well. Let's get to the real reason I bought them. I live in San Diego. And San Diego has a lot of burritos. And where there's a lot of burritos, there's also a lot of salsa. Like the locals, we live and die off Mexican food, which is a staple 3-5 days a week. I eat TONS of salsa and I'm tired/guilty for using 6 plastic cups (with lids if you take them out) at every meal and then throwing them away. So, lame as it is, I try to do my part of the work as often as possible. take them with you and minimize your plastic consumption. Sure people point, stare, laugh and/or stare, workers may raise an eyebrow, but in the end I've already saved hundreds of wasteful little cups. Yes I spent $10 of my own money to avoid spending money on a business but hey I sleep well at night. Your decision is included.

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • I don't really like it everything is fine
