Recommended for friends and family. This is my first MagSafe charger and I was curious to see how it works. It was very easy and convenient to use - the charger stuck to the back of the phone even with a protective iPhone case on. The pouch that comes with the charger is very handy for travelling. Easy to store and compact in size. I've heard of heat and slow charging issues with MagSafe chargers. But this charger doesn't overheat and charges rather quickly than expected. In my opinion it's a good value.
