I think I bought 6 sets of velvet chair covers to find something to match my oversized rectory chairs. The best advice is to measure the chair accurately and follow the measurements given for each manufacturer. Judging by the photos, all brands are very similar. They don't fit the same. Read the detailed dimensions and measure accurately. As for the colors, the ivory color made the stitching look translucent. (I had medium brown chairs to cover) Light gray is a nice medium or light gray. It was perfect for the farmhouse look I was going for. Mid gray (smoky?) was a beautiful and luxurious color. Kind of medium dark. It was hard to decide between this one and light gray. The dark gray looked very modern and was almost dark grey. I bought size XL. As mentioned, it has an odd angular length at the back. I'd rather it wasn't there, but I can fold and store it pretty well. Although not optimal. This cover was really the only one that matched my chair and it fits perfectly.
