The Zigbee connection protocol is a double-edged sword: those who already have some kind of smart home option on the Xiaomi / Aqara hub will appreciate the response speed and the absence of an extra 2.4Ghz network consumer, but at the same time, those who expect the possibility of direct control without the participation of a gateway, such option, of course, does not fit. For the first case, especially if it comes across on sale or there is an opportunity to pay part of the cost with bonuses, I consider it an ideal option for "smart light".
- Adjustable color temperature. A little more massive compared to conventional LED lamps of similar power, but much less overall compared to Yeelight bulbs. Instantly responsive when used in local MiHome / AqaraHome scenarios, i. E. when the signal comes directly from the hub without the participation of the Chinese cloud.
- You can not set the default state after a power outage. Need Xiaomi/Aqara gateway to use. It is difficult to sit in a flat wall or ceiling lamp and can rest against the ceiling, which can adversely affect the temperature and, accordingly, the life time.
