Easy as a snack for work
I like to bring fruit to work as a snack. I work in an office so it's very annoying to chew on an apple and maybe get the juice on your hands and then on your keyboard. In general it is very convenient. I just toss it in a lunch box in the morning and I can core and shred the apple in our break room and then eat it with a fork at my table. I know this might be a first world issue but it's really nice to be able to eat at your table with no issues without being cleaned.
